DELPHOS — Delphos Police investigated four accidents this week.

On Monday, Marie Ladd, 25, of Delphos was cited for improper backing when her vehicle struck a parked car owned by Jerry Johnson, also of Delphos.

According to reports, Ladd was backing from a driveway on Superior Street when her vehicle collided with the Johnson vehicle.

On Tuesday, a Delphos teen was cited for a right-of-way violation.

Reports indicate 17-year-old Austin Adams was pulling out from St. John’s High School parking lot and struck an eastbound vehicle on East Second Street driven by Roger Fuerst.

Around 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Delphos Police learned the top of a trailer of a vehicle westbound on East Fifth Street at the intersection of Fort Jennings Road struck one of the traffic signals at the intersection. The vehicle did not stop.

On Thursday, Thomas J. Shanahan, 19, of Delphos was cited for an improper right turn following a vehicle/motorcycle crash at Suthoff and Washington streets.

According to the report, Shanahan was traveling west on Suthoff Street and swung wide to turn right onto Washington Street. Brian Kimmet, 39, of Delphos was traveling behind the Shanahan vehicle and believed, because the Shanahan vehicle swung out into the other lane, it was turning left so Kimmet continued West on Suthoff and was struck by Shanahan’s vehicle.
