DELPHOS — On Sunday, an officer on patrol conducted a traffic stop on
a vehicle after receiving knowledge that the driver, 20-year-old
Nicholas Boissonneault of Lima, was operating the vehicle on a suspended
driver’s license. Boissonneault was issued a citation for the in-state
drug offense suspension and will appear in Van Wert Municipal Court to
face the charge.
On Sunday, an officer on patrol conducted a
traffic stop on a vehicle after observing the driver, 34-year-old Scott
Wilkins of Delphos, commit a traffic offense. During the traffic stop,
officers found probable cause to arrest Wilkins for operating the
vehicle while intoxicated and driving on a suspended driver’s license.
Wilkins was issued a citation for speed, OVI, and FRA suspension. He
will appear in Lima Municipal Court to face the charges.
On
Monday, officers responded to a business in the 1700 block of East Fifth
Street for a theft report. Officers met with employees and found that
items were taken from the rear of the business. The incident remains
under investigation.
On Monday, officers responded to an apartment
complex in the 900 block of Lima Avenue for an altercation. Officers
arrived and met with the complex manager and found that a tenant, who
had been evicted, was becoming aggressive when asked to turn in her
keys. Officers spoke with the female, who was stopped a short distance
away, and advised her to not return to the complex.
On Monday,
officers were sent to the 500 block of North Canal Street in reference
to a domestic dispute. Officers arrived and spoke with a female and a
male juvenile, who had an altercation. The female stated that the
juvenile, who is temporarily staying at her residence with his mother,
became aggressive and belligerent towards her. Children’s services was
contacted and advised of the incident. No charges will be filed.
On
Monday, officers were dispatched to the 300 block of West Third Street
to locate a male that was threatening to harm himself. Officers did
locate the male and determined that he needed to have a mental
evaluation. He was then transported to the hospital by Delphos Fire and
Rescue.
On Monday, officers responded to the 400 block of South
Canal Street for a female who was creating a disturbance. Officers
located the female, who was confused and appeared to be under the
influence of an unknown substance. The female was transported to the
hospital for evaluation.
On Tuesday, officers met with a female in
the 600 block of North Washington Street in reference to a lost child.
Officers arrived and found that a small boy had come to the
complainant’s residence and didn’t know how to get home. Officers took
the child to the police department and began looking for his parents.
After a short time, the mother of the child was located. She advised
that her son got out of the residence while she was taking a nap.
Children’s services were notified but no charges will be filed.
On
Tuesday, an officer on patrol conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle
after observing 21-year-old Alyssa Bresson of Delphos operating the
vehicle. The officer had prior knowledge that Bresson’s driving status
is expired. During the traffic stop, officers searched the vehicle and
located marijuana and paraphernalia inside. Bresson was issued a
citation for expired driver’s license and issued a summons for
possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Bresson will appear in
Lima Municipal Court to face the charges.
On Thursday, officers
met with a female at the police department who wished to report an
identity theft incident. The female told officers that someone unknown
to her had made purchases on her credit card without her knowledge. A
report was written for further investigation.
On Thursday,
officers met with a female in the 700 block of East Fifth Street, who
reported her daughter missing. Officers took a report and had the
juvenile female entered into a law enforcement database as missing. On
Friday, the female was located in Lima and returned home to her mother.
The case is being reviewed for possible charges on the juvenile.
On
Thursday, an officer on patrol conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle.
While making contact with the vehicle occupants, the officer observed a
male in the vehicle, 48-year-old Scott Mox of Delphos. The officer had
prior knowledge that Mox had an active warrant out of Allen County. Mox
was taken into custody and transported to the Allen County Jail.
