OTTOVILLE — The Ottoville High School Music Department will present the musical comedy “Haphazardly Ever After” at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

“Haphazardly Ever After” follows the attempts of King Barnabas (Brendon Stoner) and Queen Mildred (Brittany Schleeter) to marry off their four unpleasant, bickering children. Princess Cinnamon (Makayla Miller), Princess Peppermint (Karie Ladd), Prince Hairgel (Caden Edelbrock) and the aptly-named Prince Slacker (Ben Horstman) are an unruly lot more interested in mayhem than marriage. All conventional methods of reining in the children meet with failure. After reading several fairy tales, the king and queen purchase magic potions from discount outlet Enchanted Depot, with disastrous - and hilarious - results! The narrator (Kara Landin) keeps the story moving as smoothly as possible, and that isn’t always easy!

The show has a fairy godmother, magical fairies, a magic mirror, and all of the other characters you’d expect to find in any good fairy tale. “Haphazardly Ever After” is fun family entertainment.

Others in the talented cast are Madison Averesch, Halle Landin, Katlyn Kelch, Megan Schnipke, McKenna Byrne, Kasey Knippen, Carson Stoner, Elijah Knodell, Abi Hilvers, Tyler Birr, Kylee Hoersten, Quinley Schlagbaum, Julia Langhals, Haley Hoersten, Paige Hoersten, Brooke Kortokrax, Ashley Herman, Kambrie Edelbrock, Anthony Schnipke, Allie Honigford, Beth Moorman and Emily Moorman.

Tickets are $6 and can be purchased in advance at the high school office during school hours. Tickets will also be available at the door prior to performances.
