DELPHOS — On Feb. 6, members of the Delphos Cub Scout Pack 42 Wolf Den worked together to make a fleece blanket, write letters, and create art projects to send to an adopted soldier in Korea.

The idea was brought to the Den Leaders, Kate Wiltsie and Cara Sherrick, by Stephanie Ohtola, Jefferson High School History teacher.

Ohtola adopted the soldier as an opportunity for her classes and the high school community to send goods, letters and needed items, as well as make a connection to someone in the armed forces over seas.
