Ottoville Council approves purchase of nearly 12 acres

OTTOVILLE — The Village Council approved the purchase of 11.757 acres of Niedecken property in the Industrial Park and will utilize the property for commercial development. The land costs $7,000 per acre, bringing the total purchase price close to $82,300.

Council also approved auditing the Village’s Personnel Policy and Procedure Manual, Section 6.07, regarding the use of personal employee information.

Village council members passed the annual agreement with Monterey Township Trustees for the use of the public library, housed at 349 Wayne St., and the reimbursement of a portion of the yearly electric bill at $1,400 per year.
