At 9:40 a.m. Tuesday, a traffic accident occurred when the driver of one vehicle failed to stop behind another vehicle.
Paul Hesseling, 79, of Delphos, was stopped at the stop sign at First and State Streets when Cassandra Schimmoeller, 17, of Delphos, pulled up behind his vehicle and rear-ended it with her own.
There were no injuries and moderate damage to both vehicles. Schimmoeller was cited for an Assured Clear Distance Ahead violation.
