The Marion Township Trustees held their regular scheduled meeting on Monday at the Marion Township Office with the following members present: Jerry Gilden, Joseph Youngpeter and Howard Violet.
The purpose of the meeting was to pay bills and conduct ongoing business. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved as read. The trustees reviewed the bills and gave approval for 20 checks totaling $23,329.53.
Road Foreman Elwer talked some regarding a notice received from the Allen Soil and Water regarding concrete companies washing trucks out on public right-of-ways.
Fiscal Officer Kimmet presented to the trustees the Fund Status and the Bank Reconciliation Report for Nov. 30 for review and signature.
He gave the trustees a Blank Certificate to sign to cover the audit invoice.
He gave the trustees a notice from the Allen Soil and Water Conservation District regarding a meeting on Project No. 1310.
The trustees decided to have the next meeting at 9 a.m. on Dec. 24 and asked Kimmet to put a notice in the paper regarding the change.
Police Chief Vermillion advised the trustees that the radar unit in the police unit has been recertified.
After some discussion regarding health insurance for 2013 it was decided to make some minor changes to help reduce cost.
There being no further business a motion to adjourn by Trustee Youngpeter was seconded by Trustee Violet and passed unanimously.
