CLC sends 481 cards to soldiers PDF Print E-mail

Thirty-five members of the Landeck CLC opened a recent meeting with The Legend of the Christmas Prayer by Brian Morgan and salute to the Flag.

Minutes from the November meeting were read and approved.

Birthday wishes were sent out for December and January birthdays. Prayer and get well wishes were sent out to our sick members.

Club 25 winners: Laura Ladd for December and Sue Radabaugh for January. Pot of gold winner was Kay Siefer. 50/50 winners were Helen Kimmett, Barb Mueller and Sue Radabaugh. Christmas Basket winners were Ethel Schwinnen and Bonnie Merschman.

Welcome cheer went out to new member Marilyn Sickles, who transferred from Ottoville CLC.

Janet Siefker is now licensed to sell CLC Life Insurance along with her mother, Velma Wehri.

More than five years ago, Kathy Siefker, along with Landeck CLC Council 84, started sending Christmas cards to the military. This year was no different; 481 Christmas cards were sent out.

The optional Christmas gift was exchanged with each member telling a Christmas memory from the past.

Meeting was closed with the singing of Silent Night, Holy Night and Christmas bingo by the committee.
The next meeting will be in February.
