btzweber@bright.net A look at their history is truly a remarkable high school career in which they hope to continue heading into tournament play next week. The stats show how successful these four ladies, along with their teammates have been: Four years (2010-13) Putnam County League Champions/28-0 in PCL play; never lost a home game; and with the win this night, their teams have combined for an 86-5 mark (95% winning percentage). Big Green head coach Dave Kleman was quick to point out that these girls are successful both on and off the court: “Academically, they’re great kids; all are going to college and all have chosen where they’re headed and what they want to pursue on and off the basketball court. They are great examples for the rest of our kids. They did the things this summer preparing them to be both physically and emotionally ready for the grind of the season.” To read the rest of this article please subscribe or sign in |
