Sonya Kay Gall, 46, of Delphos, died Sunday at St. Rita’s Medical Center.

She was born May 24, 1967, in Lima, to Robert James and Margaret (Stahlman) Evans, who survive in Van Wert.

She was united in marriage to Jacob Gall on May 21, 1999. He survives in Delphos.

Other survivors include five daughters, Tabatha (Domonick) Gall of Ohio City, Kalynn (Aaron Snyder) York of Delphos, Tiffany (Joshua) Kenyon of Kentucky, Rebecca (Steven) Rode and Kari (Josh Moore) Gall of Van Wert; two sisters, Michelle Evans of Van Wert and Rachel (Kelly) Hofmann of Grover Hill; 18 grandchildren and a god daughter, Kristina Waldron.

Mrs. Gall was a homemaker.

She was an avid reader but her passsion in life was her children and grandchildren.

She was a 1985 graduate of Lincolnview high school and was currently attending Rhodes State Community College for social work.

Sonya, as well as her family, was proud for being an organ donor and happy that her eyes are going to give someone sight.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Harter and Schier Funeral Home, with Pastor Jody Harr officiating. Burial will be at a later date.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
