VAN WERT — The Van Wert County Sheriff’s Office is looking for help in an investigation of a series of break-ins in the southeastern part of the county.

According to Sheriff Tom Riggenbach, between Sept. 2-7, two burglaries, one attempted burglary and one breaking and entering incidents have occurred in Washington and Jennings townships. Each of the incidents are suspected of taking place during the early morning hours.

Riggenbach is asking anyone with any information about these cases to please contact his office at (419) 238-3866 or use the “Submit a crime tip” link at the website www.vanwertcountysheriff.com. Anyone submitting a tip will remain anonymous.
