|Marion Township Trustees met Monday|

MARION TOWNSHIP — The Marion Township Trustees met Monday at the Marion Township Office with the following members present: Joseph Youngpeter, Howard Violet and Jerry Gilden.
The purpose of the meeting was to pay bills and conduct ongoing business. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved as read. The trustees then reviewed the bills and gave approval for 17 checks totaling $11,838.53.
Road Foreman Elwer reported that Century Link was burying cable in the Piquad/McBride Road area without a permit. They then provided a permit which the trustees asked Elwer to do so checking before they would sign it.
Fiscal Officer Kimmet gave the Bank Reconciliation and Fund Status reports for Aug. 31 for review and signature.
Trustee Gilden reported Fred Calvelage was given the estimate cost for demolishing a building at Scott’s Crossing from the Moving Forward Grant and he hasn’t heard anything back from him.
There being no further business, a motion to adjourn by Violet was seconded by Gilden and passed unanimously.
