At 10:17 a.m. Thursday, Delphos Police were made aware of an active arrest warrant issued by the Adult Parole Authority for William Estle, age 24 of Delphos. At that time officers went to a residence in the 300 block of South Main Street and took Estle into custody. Estle was transported to the Allen County Jail.
At 2:29 a.m. Thursday, while on routine patrol in the area of E. 1st St and North Main St. Delphos Police came into contact with Kermit Bricker, age 52 of Delphos. At which time it was found that Bricker was operating a motor vehicle while his driving privileges were suspended. Bricker was cited into Lima Municipal Court on the charge.
At 9:35 a.m. Friday, Delphos Police were contacted by a subject following what appeared to be an impaired driver. Upon officers arriving in the area of the complaint officers came into contact with Paul Merschman, age 49 of Delphos, at which time officers found Merschman to be operating a vehicle while impaired. Merschman was taken into custody and was later released after he was cited into Lima Municipal Court on the charge.
At 12:31 p.m. Saturday, Delphos Police were made aware of an active arrest warrant issued out of Lima Common Pleas Court for Thomas Cooley, age 60 of Delphos. Officers were advised that Cooley was staying at a residence in the 200 block of Cherry Street. Upon officers arrival at that location they took Cooley into custody and was later handed over to the Allen County Sheriff’s Department.
At 2:05 p.m. Saturday, Delphos Police were made aware of an active arrest warrant issued out of Van Wert Municipal Court for Jeremy East, age 31 of Delphos, for failing to comply with court orders for a prior driving under the influence charge. Officers went to the 400 block of North Franklin Street and took East into custody, East was transported to the Van Wert Jail.
At 5:52 p.m. Saturday, Delphos Police began receiving telephone calls in reference to several residence being burglarized with in the past (2) two hours, officers were called to residences in the 600 block of North Scott Street, 1300 block of Ricker Street and 600 block of East Seventh Street. Upon officers arriving at those locations forced entry were found and the victim’s all reported that personal items were taken from these locations. The Delphos PD Detective Bureau was contacted and came to the scene to process them. Delphos Police is asking anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in these areas during this time to contact the Delphos Police Department or Allen County Crime Stoppers with their information.
At 1:54 a.m. Sunday, Delphos Police were called to the 200 block of North Canal Street in reference to a theft report. Upon officers arrival they were met by paper carriers of the Lima News. Officers were advised that someone had gained entry into the staging area for the paper and had taken items from inside the building including inserts for the Sunday edition of the Lima News.
At 5:36 p.m. Sunday, Delphos Police were contacted by a resident who stated that the victim was receiving unwanted text messaging and photographs from a subject and that the subject would not stop contacting the victim.
At 10:50 p.m. Sunday, Delphos Police were made aware of an active arrest warrant issued out of Van Wert Common Pleas Court for James Irwin, age 44 of Delphos. Officers went to Irwin’s residence in the 200 block of Holland Ave. and took him into custody. Irwin was transported to the Van Wert County Jail on the warrant.
