The following individuals appeared Wednesday before Judge Charles Steele in Van Wert County Common Pleas Court:
Jeremy R. Neeley, 23, Van Wert, entered a not guilty plea to two counts of rape, both counts are felonies of the first degree, and has a specification of a life sentence on each count. The two incidents involved a victim that was less than 10 years of age and took place sometime between Jan. 1  and March 2.
