28-year-old arrested for bicycle thef
At 10:25 p.m. on Friday, Delphos police were called to the 400 block of Harmon Street in reference to a theft complaint at a residence in that area.
Upon officers’ arrival, they spoke with the complainant who advised a male subject had taken a BMX-style bicycle and the male subject was at another residence in the area. Officers then located Jason Lacey, 28, of Delphos, at which time Lacey was arrested on charges of theft and was also issued a no trespassing notice from another residence in that area from a prior incident.
Lacey was transported to the Allen County Jail and will appear in Lima Municipal Court on the theft charge.

At 1:05 p.m. on Friday, Delphos police were contacted by a resident of the 300 block of East Fourth Street in reference to a theft complaint.
Upon speaking with the victim, it was found someone had gained entry into the victim’s vehicle and taken personal items from inside.
Traffic stop nets four arrestsAt 10:31 p.m. on Saturday while on routine patrol in the area of East Fifth Street and Fort Jennings Road, Delphos police observed a vehicle run the red light at that intersection. Upon making contact, the driver Tiffany Talboom, 20, of Delphos, it was found she did not possess a driver’s license.
Talboom was cited into Lima Municipal Court for no operator’s license and a red light violation.
Officers located the vehicle’s owner, Cody Baker, 20, of Delphos inside the vehicle and found Baker had given an unlicensed driver permission to drive the vehicle. It was also found that Baker had consumed alcohol while being under the legal drinking age. Baker was cited into Lima Municipal Court for wrongful entrustment and underage consumption. Two additional passengers, Todd Gengler, 18, of Spencerville and Kyle Hamilton, 18, of Elida were also charged with consuming alcohol while under the legal drinking age.
Both Gengler and Hamilton were cited into Lima Municipal Court for underage consumption.
Man arrested on warrant
At 6:55 p.m. on Saturday, Delphos police arrested Jeffrey Stocklin, 30, of Delphos on an active arrest warrant issued by the Adult Parole Authority.
The warrant was from a prior receiving stolen property conviction.
Stocklin was turned over to deputies from the Allen County Sheriff’s Department and was transported to the Allen County Jail.
