At 12:40 a.m. on Wednesday, Delphos Police were called to a residence in the 202 Holland Avenue trailer park in reference to a domestic violence complaint.
Upon officers’ arrival, they spoke with the subjects involved in the altercation, at which time the female subject advised she wished to be taken to a shelter for abused people in Lima. At that point, officers took the female to the Delphos Police Department for further investigation on the complaint and to make arrangements to transport her to the shelter.
A short time later, the male half also came to the police department, at which time officers had found enough probable cause to arrest Gregary Young, 32, of Delphos for threatening to cause or causing physical harm to a family or household member.  At which time Young was transported to the Allen County Jail and was scheduled to appear in  Lima Municipal Court on Thursday to face the charge.
Upon reviewing the case with the prosecutor’s office, enough probable cause was found for a second charge of domestic violence on Young for causing or threatening to cause physical harm on the same victim earlier that was not immediately reported to police.
Upon Young appearing in Lima Municipal Court on the charges, he entered a plea of not guilty at which time a bond of $1,000 cash bond was set and an order of protection was also issued against Young.
At the time of news release Young was still in custody at Allen County Jail.
