Kenneth L. Mueller, 70, of Delphos, died at 7:15 p.m. Saturday at the Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center after a yearlong battle with cancer.
He was born July 26, 1941, in Landeck, to Melville and Viola (Gengler) Mueller, who preceded him in death.
Survivors include son Ken Mueller of Delphos; daughters Kami (Kevin) Williams and Kelli (Brian) Hensley of Delphos; sisters Patricia Vorst of Middle Point and Joyce (Larry) Keipper of Delphos; brother Stanley (Shirley) Mueller of Landeck; and grandchildren Kyle White, Curtis White, Abby Hensley, Brayden Hensley, Emma Mueller and Elijah Mueller.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Leo Mueller.
Mr. Mueller served more than 33 years on the Allen County Fair Board, including three years as vice president. In 2005, he was inducted into the Allen County Agricultural Society Hall of Fame. He retired from Vetter Concrete after 40 years of service. He was a 1961 St. John High School graduate and a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Landeck Foresters and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 471.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Landeck, the Rev. Jacob Gordon officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Harter and Schier Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Van Wert Community Health Professional Hospice Center.
