Roger L. Wiechart, 61, of Delphos, died at 1:45 a.m. Tuesday at St. Rita’s Medical Center.
He was born Nov. 22, 1950, in Lima, to Bernard and Elizabeth (Stopfel) Wiechart.
He is survived by his longtime caregiver, Jay (Ellen) Moore of Ottoville; and his second family, Don and Norma Moore of Grover Hill and the rest of the Moore family.
Mr. Wiechart was a brick layer who took several trade classes, was an avid fisherman and hunter and member at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
Mass of Christian Burial begins at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, the Rev. Mel Verhoff officiating. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. today at Harter and Schier Funeral Home, where the parish wake begins at 7:30 p.m.
