Two cases were heard in Van Wert County Court of Common Pleas Wednesday by retired Judge Sumner E. Walters:
Brandon Potter, 26, Coldwater, was arraigned on three counts of theft, each a felony of the fifth degree.
He entered a not guilty plea and was released on a surety bond.
Pretrial is set for June 13.
David Darst, 36, of Van Wert, was granted judicial release after serving eleven months of his two year prison sentence for child endangering.
He was placed on community control for 5 years, ordered not to be in the presence of minor children without adult supervision, must live with his mother in Delaware and have a psychological assessment and complete recommended treatment. The balance of the two-year sentence was suspended.
