Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Warnecke of Delphos will observe their 40th wedding anniversary on July 15.

A family dinner is planned to celebrate.

Wayne and former Alice Siefker were united in marriage on July 15, 1972, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, the Rev. Frank Eckhart officiating.

They are the parents of a son, Scott (Laurie) Warnecke of Delphos; and two daughters, Shelly (Travis) Schulte and Melissa (Scott) Scalf of Delphos. They also have seven grandchildren, Kayla Warnecke, Austin Schulte, Kyrstin Warnecke, Braxton Scalf, Avery Schulte, Braylon Scalf and McKenna Scalf.

Wayne is retired from Central Soya, Inc., and Alice is a homemaker and seamstress.
