The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a single-vehicle crash reported at 7:34 p.m. Tuesday on Road F-6 just west of St. Rt. 109.
Reports indicate Jacob Kahle, 16, of Ottawa, was westbound when his vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway, overcorrected and then went off the right side of the roadway. The car came to rest on its top in a ditch.
Passengers in the vehicle were Calen Liebrecht, 15, and Grant Hershberger, 15, both of Ottawa.
Kahle and Liebrecht were treated and released at the scene. Hershberger was transported to St. Rita’s Medical Center by Ottawa EMS. He was later transported to Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, where his condition is not known.
