The following Individuals appeared Wednesday before Judge Charles Steele in Van Wert County Common Pleas Court:
Robert Stoller, 30, Van Wert, appeared in court for a bond violation hearing for failing to report to his probation officer and for failing a drug test. He admitted to the violations and was ordered held on a $10,000 cash bond plus a surety bond. He was granted work release and his case was set for pretrial on Tuesday.
Jennifer Burk, 21, Van Wert, appeared for a bond violation for making false statements to her probation officer. She admitted the violation and was ordered to serve her previously suspended sentence of 9 months prison. She was given credit for 147 days already served.
Jared Garwood, 28, Van Wert, appeared before Judge Steele for violating his bond by failing to report to probation as ordered. He admitted the violation and was then released on a surety bond with an order to strictly comply with all conditions.
Jared Smith, 24, Van Wert, changed his plea to guilty to possession of heroin, a felony of the fifth degree. The court ordered a pre-sentence investigation and set sentencing for Oct. 10.
Klarisa Mendoza, 24, Van Wert, changed her plea to guilty to possession of heroin, a felony of the fifth degree. The court ordered a pre-sentence investigation and set sentencing for Oct. 10. Defendant made a motion to be released on a surety bond but that motion was denied by the court.
Ronald Dillingham, 36, Lima, appeared on a probation violation after he was arrested for a DUI charge in Lima and another DUI in Defiance. He admitted the violation and was sentenced to serve his previously deferred prison sentence of 12 months with credit for 111 days already served.
