DELPHOS — Delphos City Schools is in need of a few good substitute bus drivers. Prospective drivers will need to attend a four-hour class, drive a bus with an instructor for 12 hours and pass a drug test, background search and physical. “We need as many as possible,” Interim Superintendent Frank Sukup said at Monday’s board of education meeting. “We have a lot of retirements coming up and not a lot of drivers to fill those positions.” Those interested should apply at the administration building on Jefferson Street. Sukup also gave an update on the district’s Race to the Top status.
