Norma L. Wollet, 90, of Middle Point, died at 3:45 p.m. Wednesday at Van Wert Manor.
She was born Oct. 6, 1922, in Washington Township, to Delmer and Ethel (Jenkins) Stemen, who preceded her in death.
On March 8, 1943, she married Alfred Wollet, who died on Oct. 10, 1962.
Survivors include two daughters, Gloria (Ric Wagner) Hundley and Ginger (Russ) Rahrig; two sisters, Marilyn (Dorce) of Canfield and Joan Alt of Van Wert; five grandchildren, Jennifer Rife, John (Diana) Hundley, Amber (Scott) Davis, Jason Miller and April (Jonathan) Bryant; 11 great-grandchildren; and a special sister-in-law, Ferne Wollet.
She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Vickie; and two brothers, Leonard and John Stemen.
Mrs. Wollet worked at Triangle Grocery in Van Wert and then was a nurses aide at Vancrest Nursing Home in Van Wert. She was also the clerk of the Village of Middle Point for many years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Middle Point, the Presbyterian Church in Middle Point, the VFW Women’s Auxiliary and the Middle Point Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She loved to crochet and be with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved the holidays, especially Thanksgiving. Fall was her favorite time of the year.
Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday at Harter and Schier Funeral Home, the Rev. Paul Miller officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery, Middle Point.
Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Preferred memorials are to the Middle Point Fire Department.
