Two sent to hospital after crash PDF Print

Two Delphos teens were transported to St. Rita’s Medical Center for possible injuries following a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Second and Pierce streets at 6:49 p.m. Tuesday.

According to police reports, a vehicle driven by Dane Conley, 17, of Delphos, was traveling westbound on East Second Street and attempting to make an improper left turn at the traffic signal when his vehicle collided with an eastbound vehicle driven by Trisha Hobbs, 16, of Delphos.

Hobbs and her passenger, Brandon Hittle, 18, of Delphos were transported to St. Rita’s, where they were treated and released.

Conley was cited for an improper left turn.

A Delphos man was cited for failure to yield to oncoming traffic following a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of West Fifth and North Canal streets at 2:35 p.m. Tuesday.

According to police reports, Brian Wisener, 45, of Delphos, was traveling northbound on North Canal Street and stopped at the post stop sign and then proceeded into the intersection, failing to see a vehicle driven by Lawrence Brown, 61, of Delphos, traveling eastbound in the inside lane of West Fifth Street.

No one was injured.

 
Jennings woman cited after striking parked vehicle PDF Print

A Fort Jennings woman was cited for failure to maintain control after her vehicle struck a parked vehicle.

The accident was reported at 8:38 a.m. Sunday.

According to the police report, Amy Clay, 23, of Fort Jennings was traveling eastbound in the 200 block of West Sixth Street when her vehicle struck a parked car owned by Margaret Lambert of Lima, damaging in the driver’s side and knocking off the side mirror.

No one was injured.

A Fort Jennings woman was cited for assured clear distance following a three-vehicle accident at approximately 4:48 p.m. Monday on East Fifth Street.

According to the police report, Karen Maenle struck the rear bumper of a vehicle driven by Craig Ebbeskotte, 41, of Delphos, which in turn, struck the bumber of the vehicle in front of it driven by Dane Stose, 28, of Delphos.

No one was injured.

 
Man arrested on warrant from St. Marys PDF Print

At 5:02 p.m. on Sunday, Delphos Police went to a residence in the 200 block of North Pierce Street at which time they served an active arrest warrant issued out of St. Marys on Lindsey Bradley, 55, of Delphos.

Bradley was taken into custody and later turned over to St. Marys officers.
