LIMA — The following is the final weekly 2020 report concerning construction and maintenance work on State highways within the Ohio Department of Transportation District 1. All outlined work is weather permitting.

Work will not take place on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 26.

Allen County

Interstate 75 between Napoleon Road and State Route 235, just south of the village of Beaverdam to three miles north of the village of Bluffton, in Allen and Hancock counties, will experience lane restrictions and ramp closures for paving and reconstruction through November 2020.

Continuing impact

— There are no scheduled lane restrictions and work in occurring in the median.

Upcoming impact

— Daytime lane restrictions in both directions are expected during the week of December 7 to remove the barrier wall and shift traffic.

State Route 65/Elm Street and Pine Street at their intersection in the city of Lima closed June 1 for replacement of the bridges over the Ottawa River. Completion is expected in late fall.

Continuing impact

— Bridges and intersection are open

— Temporary lane closures may occur to finish work

U.S. 30 between Slabtown Road overhead and Mayberry Road, two miles west of Beaverdam may have traffic control operations in effect through mid-December for transmission line replacement by American Electric Power.

Putnam County

State Route 65 in the village of Leipsic, between T-6 and C-5, will close Monday for one week for railroad repair.

Continuing impact

• Detour: SR 613 to SR 109 to SR 18 back to SR 65

Van Wert County

Van Wert County has no planned work anticipated to impact to traffic.
