VAN WERT — The following individuals appeared before Judge Martin Burchfield in Van Wert County Common Pleas Court:



Daniel Dunn, 30, Van Wert, entered a not guilty plea to possession of fentanyl-related compound, a felony 5; and trafficking in fentanyl-related compound, a felony 5. He was released on a surety bond with telephone pretrial on Jan. 28.


Probation violations

Jared Smith, 32, Van Wert, admitted violating his probation by failing to complete assessments and treatment, failing to report to probation and by providing a false phone number to probation. He was sentenced to 180 days jail with credit for 107 served.

Milo Holt Jr., 22, Van Wert, admitting to violating his probation by refusing the WORTH Center program. He was sentenced to 180 days jail with credit for 155 served.

Change of plea

Dustin Stuckey, 35, Middle Point, changed his plea to guilty to possession of a fentanyl-related compound, a felony 5. The court ordered a pre-sentence investigation and set sentencing for Feb. 17.


Forest Houseworth III, 37, Van Wert, aggravated trafficking drugs, a felony 3. Sentenced to three years community control, up to six months at WORTH Center, 200 hours community service, 30 days jail at later date, ordered to seek employment after WORTH, substance abuse and mental health assessments and treatment, two years intensive probation and was ordered to pay partial appointed counsel fees, monthly probation fee and costs.
