  • Jefferson falls at sectionals
    CONVOY — Crestview’s volleyball team was clicking on all cylinders in Tuesday’s Division IV tournament opener, and Jefferson…well…was not. The result was a 25-4, 25-13, 25-15 shellacking that advances the 8th-seeded Knights (17-6) to a Thursday night meeting with top-seeded and #1-ranked St. Henry at St. Henry. The 10th-seeded Lady Cats’ season ends at 5-18.

    OTTOVILLE — Miller Precision Manufacturing Industries recently celebrated a successful 30 years in business by opening its doors to the public and inviting them to take a look at today’s modern machine shop.
  • Grove sweeps NWC meet
    SPENCERVILLE — Columbus Grove won both the boys’ and girls’ titles in the Northwest Conference cross country meet run Saturday morning in Spencerville. The boys’ race featured a tight battle with Columbus Grove (30) edging out runner-up Lincolnview (33) by 3 points. Lincolnview girls also finished second while Crestview took third place in both races. Junior High races were won by Lincolnview (boys) and Columbus Grove (girls).

    COLDWATER -- What a difference a week makes.

    Last weekend, Delphos St. Johns and Parkway participated in the Coldwater Lions Cross Country Invitational with temperatures in 80’s and high humidity.

    DELPHOS — St. John’s seniors Tyler Ruda, Grant Csukker, Jared Wurst and Luke Reindel were among those who helped set up the Zoo Parade in the Robert A. Arnzen Gymnasium Tuesday afternoon in preparation for the Children’s Festival today.
