DELPHOS — At the November Delphos FFA meeting, 15 members received their Greenhand degrees.

To receive a Greenhand degree, the following requirements are met: a member must be regularly enrolled in an agriculture education class for an agriculture occupation and have plans for a satisfactory supervised agricultural experience, have learned and can explain the meaning of the FFA creed, colors, motto and salute.

They also must be able to describe the FFA emblem, colors, and symbols; explain the proper use of the FFA jacket; have knowledge of the history of the organization; know the responsibilities of FFA members; maintain a satisfactory scholastic record in the agricultural course; and finally, submit a written application.
