DELPHOS — The long awaited reopening of the Delphos Postal Museum is here and volunteers are needed to man the museum.

The museum is open by appointment but regular hours would be great. We are starting off slowly with just 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. every Saturday. People think that they have to be postal historians to volunteer but everything is labeled and descriptions are printed while our audio tour is being revised because of all the new exhibits.

Volunteers are needed to work just two hours on Saturdays up to four times a year. The job requires learning the alarm code and where the light switches are. People take their own self-guided tour and there is plenty to see.

Just a short orientation and you are ready to make a big difference in your community. Contact any board member or officer of the museum: Gary Levitt, Bob Ebbeskotte, Rick Hanser, Ed Ulrich, Ruth Ann Wittler, Una Nulty Horstman or just call 419-303-5482
