The following is a weekly report concerning construction and maintenance work on State highways within the Ohio Department of Transportation District 1.

Allen County

Interstate 75 between the Stewart Road overpass and Napoleon Road, between the city of Lima and the village of Beaverdam, will be restricted to one lane in both directions for a pavement resurfacing project. The project also includes repairs on the ramps at the Bluelick Road interchange and on the bridges over Sugar Creek. Lane restrictions will be in place each week from Monday morning to Friday afternoon. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained in each direction on weekends. Work will continue through early October. Variable speed limit signs will be in place to display the legal, posted speed limit through the work zone.

The following ramp closures are associated with the project:

— Exit ramp from I-75 southbound to Bluelick Road, Lima, will close Monday, Aug. 19, for approximately two days for ramp repairs. Traffic will be detoured onto I-75 southbound, the State Route 81 interchange and I-75 northbound back to Bluelick Road.

— Entrance ramp from Bluelick Road to I-75 southbound, Lima, will close Monday, Aug. 19, for approximately two days for ramp repairs. Traffic will be detoured onto I-75 northbound and the Napoleon Road interchange back to I-75 southbound.

State Route 66 between State Road and Landeck Road, south of the City of Delphos, is now open.

State Route 66 between Kolter Road and Deep Cut Road, just south of the village of Spencerville, will close Wednesday for approximately 60 days for the replacement of eight culverts. Traffic will be detoured onto State Route 117, State Route 116 and State Route 197 back to State Route 66. Additionally, Kolter Road at state Route 66 will close Thursday for approximately seven days for drainage work and pavement repair at the intersection.

State Route 103 (Jefferson Street) over Riley Creek, between Huber Street and Vance Street within the village of Bluffton, will close Monday for approximately four months for a bridge replacement. The closure will take place within a larger active work zone for a village water line replacement project, which is already underway between County Road 15 (County Line Road) and Main Street. Local access is maintained throughout the village’s work zone, but traffic will be unable to cross the bridge during the ODOT bridge replacement project. Traffic will be detoured County Road 15 (County Line Road) and Main Street back to Jefferson Street.

State Route 117 between Eastown Road and the village of Spencerville will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement repairs.

State Route 309 between the Allen County Fairgrounds and the Hardin County line will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement resurfacing. The project also includes drainage work near the Allen County Fairgrounds.

First Street over Flat Fork Creek, east of Pierce Street near Delphos St. John’s School, will close Monday, June 17, for approximately 45 days for a bridge replacement. The project is being administered by the Ohio Department of Transportation on behalf of the city of Delphos.

Third Street over Flat Fork Creek, between Douglas Street and Scott Street within the city of Delphos, closed May 20 for approximately two months for a bridge replacement project. Traffic will be detoured onto Scott Street, Second Street and Douglas Street back to Third Street. The project is being administered by the Ohio Department of Transportation on behalf of the city of Delphos.

Putnam County

State Route 15 just north of state Route 613, east of the village of Continental, closed for approximately five days for railroad crossing repairs. Traffic will be detoured onto state Route 613 and state Route 634 back to state Route 15.

State Route 613 between the Paulding County line and state Route 15 will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement marking placement following a chip seal project.

State Route 613 between the village of Leipsic and the Hancock County line will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement marking placement following a chip seal project.

State Route 613 (Main Street) between Ninth Street and 11th Street, within the village of Leipsic, will close Monday, Aug. 12, for approximately three days for sink hole repair. Traffic will be detoured onto State Route 109 and State Route 65 back to State Route 613.

Van Wert County

State Route 116 between the Auglaize County line and Middle Point Road, excluding its overlap with state Route 117, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement resurfacing.
