The following is a weekly report concerning construction and maintenance work on State highways within the Ohio Department of Transportation District 1.

Allen County

Interstate 75 between the Stewart Road overpass and Napoleon Road, between the city of Lima and the village of Beaverdam, will be restricted to one lane in both directions for a pavement resurfacing project. The project also includes repairs on the ramps at the Bluelick Road interchange and on the bridges over Sugar Creek. Lane restrictions will be in place each week from Monday morning to Friday afternoon. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained in each direction on weekends. Work will continue through early October. Variable speed limit signs will be in place to display the legal, posted speed limit through the work zone.

The following ramp closures are associated with the project:

— Exit ramp from I-75 southbound to Bluelick Road, Lima, is closed for approximately two days for ramp repairs. Traffic will be detoured onto I-75 southbound, the State Route 81 interchange and I-75 northbound back to Bluelick Road.

— Entrance ramp from Bluelick Road to I-75 southbound, Lima, is closed for approximately two days for ramp repairs. Traffic will be detoured onto I-75 northbound and the Napoleon Road interchange back to I-75 southbound.

U.S. 30 eastbound at Thayer Road will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for the addition of a right-hand turn lane at the intersection.

State Route 81 between Wapak Road and Defiance Trail will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement repairs.

State Route 66 between Kolter Road and Deep Cut Road, just south of the village of Spencerville, closed July 17 for approximately 60 days for the replacement of eight culverts. Traffic will be detoured onto State Route 117, State Route 116 and State Route 197 back to State Route 66. Additionally, Kolter Road at state Route 66 will close Thursday for approximately seven days for drainage work and pavement repair at the intersection.

State Route 103 (Jefferson Street) over Riley Creek, between Huber Street and Vance Street within the village of Bluffton, will close Monday for approximately four months for a bridge replacement. The closure will take place within a larger active work zone for a village water line replacement project, which is already underway between County Road 15 (County Line Road) and Main Street. Local access is maintained throughout the village’s work zone, but traffic will be unable to cross the bridge during the ODOT bridge replacement project. Traffic will be detoured County Road 15 (County Line Road) and Main Street back to Jefferson Street.

State Route 117/state Route 309 (Bellefontaine Avenue) between Elm Street and Shawnee Street, within the city of Lima, will close Sept. 3 for approximately one week for work related to a railroad grade separation project under the Indiana & Ohio Railroad. Traffic will be detoured onto Interstate 75, Fourth Street, St. Johns Avenue and Pine Street back to State Route 309/State Route 117 (Elm Street).

Seventh Street over Flat Fork Creek, between Moening Street and state Route 190 (Fort Jennings Road) within the city of Delphos is closed or approximately two months for a bridge replacement. Traffic is detoured onto Moening Street, Sixth Street and State Route 190 (Fort Jennings Road) back to Seventh Street. Work is being administered by the Ohio Department of Transportation on behalf of the city of Delphos.

Putnam County

The following routes in Putnam County will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for berm repair:

State Route 66 between U.S. 224 and the Paulding County line

— State Route 108 between state Route 15 and the Henry County line

— State Route 115 between the village of Kalida and state Route 15

— State Route 613 between the Paulding County line and state Route 15

State Route 108 between Vanbuskirk Street and Railroad Avenue, within the village of Miller City, will close Sept. 3, for approximately nine days for railroad crossing repairs. Traffic will be detoured onto State Route 613, State Route 109, and State Route 18 back to State Route 108.

State Route 613 (Main Street) between Ninth Street and 11th Street, within the village of Leipsic, closed Aug. 12, for sink hole repair. Traffic is detoured onto State Route 109 and State Route 65 back to State Route 613.

Van Wert County

State Route 49 between U.S. 224 and township Road 96, north of the village of Wren, closed Aug. 20 for approximately three days for a culvert replacement. Traffic will be detoured onto U.S. 33, Indiana State Route 101 and U.S. 224 back to State Route 49.
