The following is a weekly report concerning construction and maintenance work on State highways within the Ohio Department of Transportation District 1.

Allen County

Interstate 75 between Bentley Road and state Route 103 is restricted to one lane at times for a bridge repair project. Work is occurring on I-75 over Riley Creek in Allen County and on the county Road 15 bridge over I-75 in Hancock County. The project is expected to be completed in late September.

The project will have the following anticipated impacts to traffic:

— County Road 15 (County Line Road) over I-75 closed Aug. 13 for approximately 30 days for bridge repairs.

— I-75 will have occasional lane restrictions in both directions throughout the duration of the project. A maximum width restriction of 13 feet is in place during the lane restriction.

I-75 over Little Riley Creek, just north of Beaverdam, is restricted to one lane at times for a bridge repair project. Shoulder restrictions are also possible during the project. A maximum width restriction of 12 feet is in place during the lane restrictions.

I-75 under Swaney Road, just north of Beaverdam, is restricted to one lane at times for a bridge repair project that began Aug. 6. Shoulder restrictions are also possible during the project. Swaney Road over I-75 closed Aug. 6 for approximately three weeks as part of the project.

I-75 shoulders near the U.S. 30 overpass, just south of Beaverdam, are closed in both directions during a culvert replacement project beneath the interstate. Periodic lanes closures on I-75 are expected throughout the project. Work is expected to continue through August.

I-75 between Bluelick Road and Napoleon Road will be reduced to one lane in each direction through the work zone for pavement repair.

State Route 65 between Grand Avenue and state Route 115, Lima, is reduced to one lane through the work zone at various locations for work related to a roadway rehabilitation project that will last through the summer.

The following impacts to traffic are occurring:

— Traffic on state Route 65 between Northern Avenue and Jacobs Avenue, just north of Casa Lu Al Restaurant, has been switched onto the northbound side of the roadway while widening work takes place on the southbound side.

— One lane of traffic is maintained in both directions. The turn lane is not available.

— Traffic delays can be expected during the project.

State Route 66 between state Route 81 and Delphos will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement repairs.

State Route 81 from Wapak Road to Eastown Road, Lima, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement resurfacing.

State Route 81 between McClure Road and Fisher Road, west of Lafayette, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement resurfacing.

State Route 117 between Bowman Road and the Auglaize County line will be reduced to one lane through the work zone for pavement repairs.

State Route 696 just south of Rockport Road, north of Beaverdam, closed Aug. 22 for approximately three days for a culvert replacement. Traffic will be detoured onto U.S. 30, state Route 65 and state Route 12 back to state Route 696.

Putnam County

Bridge sweeping will restrict the following routes to one lane through the work zones:

— State Route 12 in the village of Pandora

— State Route 65 in the village of Ottawa

— State Route 189 in the village of Fort Jennings

— State Route 634 in the village of Dupont

Bridge repair, pavement repair and resurfacing on the following routes within the Delphos and Ottoville area will have the following impacts to traffic:

— State Route 66, state Route 190 and state Route 697 within the city of Delphos will be restricted to one lane at various locations for pavement repairs and resurfacing.

— State Route 66 and state Route 189 within the village of Ottoville will be restricted to one lane at various locations for pavement repairs and resurfacing.

State Route 65 between the southern village limits of Leipsic and the Henry County line will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for a resurfacing project. The project also includes curb ramp construction within the villages of Leipsic and Belmore.

State Route 109 between state Route 613 and the Henry County line, west of Leipsic, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for a resurfacing project.

State Route 190 at township Road Q, north of Fort Jennings, closed Aug. 13 for approximately four months for the installation of a retaining wall along the Auglaize River. Traffic will be detoured onto state Route 634 and U.S. 224 back to state Route 190.

State Route 634 within the village of Continental will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for the installation of curb ramps and sidewalks.

Van Wert County

State Route 116/state Route 117 overlap just east of Louth Road, north of Monticello, is now open following a culvert replacement.

State Route 116 between Elgin Converse Road and Masters Road, east of Elgin will close Monday for approximately five days for the replacement of two culverts. Traffic will be detoured onto state Route 81, U.S. 127 and state Route 709 back to state Route 116.

State Route 116 just south of Monticello Spencerville Road, west of Spencerville, will close Sept. 10 for approximately five days for a culvert replacement. Traffic will be detoured onto state Route 197, state Route 66 and state Route 117 back to state Route 116.

U.S. 127 south of state Route 81 will be reduced to one lane through the work zone during an upgrade of automatic traffic counters.
