Special Instructions: The Court will remain open for any hearings that are scheduled before 9:00 a.m. and after 3:00 p.m. on an as-needed basis. Solid Waste Management District:

Special Instructions: All recycling services will be postponed until April 6, 2020. This includes curbside, the Recycling Center drive-thru drop off, township drop off, Allen county drop off, and commercial services. The postponement of services will begin March 26, 2020, and last until April 6, 2020. There may or may not be a reevaluation at that time to determine further action. Also, as reluctant as we all are to send recyclables to the landfill, it was determined to be the best course of action in preventing the spread of the virus at this time. Per the New England Journal of Medicine, the virus can survive on surfaces such as plastic (72 hours) and cardboard (24 hours), which are just a couple of the main types of materials that are handled at the SWMD. The SWMD apologizes for any inconvenience associated with this postponement and asks for your understanding and patience through this difficult time.
