DELPHOS — On May 2, officers responded to the 1400 block of South Clay Street for two males involved in a dispute. Officers arrived and spoke with each male separately. Officers determined that the dispute began over one neighbor confronting the other over not cutting his grass. The dispute evolved into a physical confrontation. Neither party wished to pursue charges but both were advised not to have any contact with each other.

On May 4, officers spoke with the representative of a business on Skinner Street in reference to several persons who they no longer wanted on the property. Officers prepared criminal trespass forms on the individuals and they will be served on each person.

On May 4, officers were sent to the 1100 block of North Main Street in reference to a theft complaint. Officers spoke with the complainant who stated that someone took multiple items from his garage at an unknown date or time.

On May 4, officers were dispatched to the 200 block of East Fifth Street for a domestic dispute. Officers arrived and met with a female and her adult son. After speaking with them, it was decided that he would leave the residence until they both calmed down.

On May 4, officers spoke with a male in the 500 block of South Franklin Street who reported that his garbage can was stolen.

On May 5, officers spoke with a male at the police department who reported an on-going issue with juveniles walking through his rental property. Officers spoke with the juveniles mother who stated she would correct the problem.

On May 6, officers spoke with a female at a business on East Fifth Street who requested a criminal trespass order. The female told officers that a male customer entered the business frequently and harassed her. The male will be served an order to remain off of the premises.

On May 8, a male in the 400 block of West Cleveland Street reported that someone entered his parked vehicle and removed items from inside.

On May 9 officers met with a male in the 700 block of South Main Street in reference to damage done to his car. The male showed officers his vehicle that had been spray painted by an unknown person at an unknown time.

On May 9, an officer on patrol attempted to initiate a traffic stop on a vehicle after observing the driver commit a traffic offense. The driver of the vehicle attempted to elude officers and abandoned the vehicle. The vehicle was impounded and the driver caught a short time later. The driver, a juvenile, was issued a citation for multiple violations. The report will be forwarded to the Juvenile Prosecutor’s Office for review of criminal charges as well.

On May 9, officers were dispatched to a residence in the 900 block of North Franklin Street for a domestic dispute. Officers spoke with a male and a female at the residence. Each person had a different account of the incident and neither wished to pursue charges. The male left the residence.

On May 9, officers were sent to the 1000 block of Spencerville Road in reference to a domestic dispute. Officers met with a male and a female at the residence. The female told officers that she wanted to take items from her residence and leave. Officers stood by while the female left the residence. Later in the day officers were advised that the male had gone to a residence in Putnam County where the female was staying and had assaulted her there, before returning to Delphos. Officers located the male and took him into custody for Putnam County Sheriff’s Office.

On Monday, officers were notified of a juvenile female who reported inappropriate touching by her father. The case was turned over to the Detective Bureau and the investigation is on-going.

On Tuesday, a male came to the Delphos Police Department to report a theft incident. The male told officers that cash was stolen from inside his residence by an unknown person. The incident remains under investigation.

On Wednesday, a female requested that a male be criminally trespassed from a residence that she owns on South Bredeick Street.
