DELPHOS - Tristen Thompson (20) was taken into custody by the Cridersville Police Department around 6:15 p.m. this evening at his Waverly Street Apartment in Cridersville.

Cridersville Police were told that Thompson was in fact inside his apartment. Officers arrived and took Thompson into custody without incident. He was later transported to the Allen County Jail.

Police were assisted by the Auglaize County Sheriff's Department at the time of his arrest.

Investigators in Delphos had obtained a warrant for Thompson on July 11 in regards to this robbery charge. Thompson is one of two men charged in that robbery of a Delphos woman that occurred on the morning of June 23 in the 500 block of South Washington Street in Delphos.

The victim was injured during the offense and she had been treated and released from a local hospital.

The second man, Bryce Cottrill of Wapakoneta, was taken into custody on July 15 and he is held in the Allen County Jail with bond set at $200,000 cash/surety.

The August 2019 session of the Allen County Grand Jury will hear this case against both men.
