VAN WERT — The following individuals appeared before Judge Martin Burchfield in Van Wert County Common Pleas Court:

Thursday

Bond violation

Zachariah Germann, 31, Van Wert, denied violating his bond by failing a drug test. His bond was set at $20,000 cash or commercial surety, or he can be released on Electronic House Arrest with alcosensor at his own expense. Hearing date to be scheduled.

Friday

Arraignment

Oscar Barios, 29, Edgerton, entered not guilty pleas to aggravated vehicular homicide, a felony 2; and two counts of OVI, each a misdemeanor 1. He was released on a surety bond with his drivers license suspended. Pretrial set for Dec. 19.

Tuesday

Sentencing

Courtney Pratt, 25, Van Wert, aggravated possession of drugs, a felony 5. She was sentenced to four years community control, 30 days jail at later date, 200 hours community service, inpatient treatment, three years intensive probation and was ordered to pay monthly probation fees, partial appointed counsel fees and costs.

Cyle Black, 32, Van Wert, aggravated possession of drugs, a felony 5; and possession of heroin, a felony 5. Sentenced to: 180 days jail with credit for 72 days served. Also ordered to pay partial appointed counsel fees plus court costs.

Tony Brown, 61, Van Wert, Aggravated trafficking drugs, a felony 4. Sentenced to: 12 months prison, credit for 16 days served, vehicle used in crime is forfeited to Van Wert Police Department and was ordered to pay court costs.

Changes of pleas

Corey Elston, 28, Van Wert, changed his plea to guilty to aggravated possession of drugs, a felony 5; and possession of LSD, a felony 5. He then requested and was granted Intervention in Lieu of Conviction and his case was stayed pending completion of the treatment program.

Alexander Pardo, 25, Leipsic, changed his plea to guilty to possession of cocaine,a felony 4. The court ordered a pre-sentence investigation and set sentencing for Jan. 16.

Time waiver

Yuridiana Toledo, 29, Delphos, signed a time waiver in open court and requested additional time to prepare her case. Pretrial set for Jan. 16.
