VAN WERT — The following individuals appeared Wednesday before Judge Martin Burchfield in Van Wert County Common Pleas Court:

Arraignment

Nathaniel Oehler, 22, Stryker, entered a plea of guilty to OVI, a misdemeanor 1. Three related charges were dismissed by the state for his plea. He was then sentenced as follows: 10 days jail, credit for five days served; fined $375, plus costs and partial attorney fees; and his license was suspended 180 days.

Violations

Jacob Cowan, 22, Scott, admitted to violating his probation by positive drug test. He was then sentenced to three years community control, 10 days jail with credit for five days served, ordered to comply with Westwood conditions.

Robert Thompson, 35, Van Wert, admitted to violating his bond and his Treatment in Lieu program. The court ordered a presentence investigation and set sentencing for Feb. 27.

Michael Protsman, 53, Van Wert, admitted to violating his bond by positive drug test. The court set his bond at $25,000 cash or commercial surety and set pretrial for Jan. 30.

Change of plea

Amy Hart, 30, Van Wert, changed her plea to guilty to aggravated possession of drugs, a felony 5, The court ordered a pre-sentence investigation and set sentencing for Feb. 27.

Bailey Parker, 19, Van Wert, changed his plea to guilty to two counts of aggravated trafficking drugs, a felony 3; and conspiracy, a felony 3. The court ordered a pre-sentence investigation and set sentencing for Feb. 27.
