Melissa Searles, 31, Ohio City, admitted violating her bond by failing to appear for court and failing to report to probation. Bond was set at $5,000 cash or commercial surety and pretrial set for Sept. 25.

Jeremy Dunbar, 22, Van Wert, admitted to violating his bond by failing to report for court hearing on Sept 4. Bond was set at $5,000 cash or commercial surety and pretrial set for Sept. 25.

Paul Bakle, 36, Columbia City, Indiana, aggravated possession drugs, a felony 5. Released on surety bond with pretrial on Oct. 2.

Jose Sanchez, 40, Van Wert, domestic violence, a felony 3. Released on surety bond with pretrial on Oct. 2.

Jeremy Lindeman, 37, Van Wert, possession cocaine, a felony 5; and possession heroin, a felony 5. Released on surety bond with pretrial on Oct. 2.

Brendan Bergman, 24, Van Wert, aggravated possession of drugs, a felony 3. Released on surety bond with pretrial on Oct. 2.

Joshua Wolfe, 42, Willshire, appeared for a 24-count indictment: rape, each a felony ( 3 counts); sexual battery, each a felony 2 (2 counts); gross sexual imposition, a felony 2; gross sexual imposition, each a felony 3 (9 counts); and disseminating matter harmful to juveniles, each a felony 4 (9 counts). Bond set at $500,000 cash or commercial surety. Pretrial on Oct. 2. Trial set for Nov. 19.

Johnathan Murphy, 34, Van Wert, attempted having weapons under disability, a felony 4. Released on surety bond with pretrial on Oct. 2.

Doniven Helm, 22, Van Wert, domestic violence, a felony 4. Released on surety bond with pretrial on Oct. 2.

Jay Yoh, 60, Van Wert, improper handling firearm in motor vehicle, a felony 4; using weapon while intoxicated, a misdemeanor 1; and OVI, misdemeanor 1. Released on surety bond with pretrial on Oct. 2.

John Curts, 40, Willshire, three counts of identity fraud, each a felony 4; identity fraud fraud, a felony 5; and engaging in a pattern corrupt activity, a felony 2. Released on surety bond with pretrial Oct. 2.

Joshua Hawk, 42, Montpelier, Indiana, OVI, a felony 4; and failure to reinstate license, unclassified misdemeanor. Released on surety bond with waiver of extradition and pretrial set for Oct. 2.

Violations

Alexander Chorvas, 24, Van Wert, admitted to violating his bond by failing to appear for Court hearing and failure to report to probation. Re-released on prior bond of $10,000 cash or commercial surety and PT set on 10/2 @ 9 am

Sentencing

Charles Miller, 64, Van Wert, theft, a felony 5. Sentenced to: tw0 years community control, 30 days jail at date to be determined, no drugs or alcohol without prescription, substance abuse assessment and treatment and was ordered to pay restitution of $3200, plus partial appointed counsel fees and court costs.

Kollin Taylor, 19, Van Wert, Trespass in habitation, a felony 4. Sentenced to: three years community control, up to six months at WORTH Center, substance abuse and mental health assessment and treatment, complete GED, 200 hours community service, two years intensive probation and was ordered to pay partial appointed counsel fees, monthly probation fee and costs.

Zachariah Minyoung, 18, Van Wert, Trespass in habitation, a felony 4. Sentenced to: three years community control, up to six months at WORTH Center, substance abuse and mental health assessment and treatment, complete GED, 200 hours community service, two years intensive probation and ordered to pay partial appointed counsel fees, monthly probation fee and costs.

Landon Clifton, 33, Convoy, theft, a misdemeanor 1. Sentenced to: seven days jail beginning Nov. 11, with work release. He was also ordered to pay $800 restitution and costs.

Jason Allen, 46, Middle Point, two counts of felonious assault, each a felony 2; three counts of obstructing official business, each a felony 5; and OVI, a misdemeanor 1. Sentenced to: five years prison on each felonious assault charge, consecutive; 12 months prison on each obstructing charge, concurrent with each other and concurrent with felonious assault charges; 180 days jail on OVI, concurrent with felonious assault charges, for total of 10 years prison with credit for three days served.

James Dunno, 34, Paulding, theft of firearm, a felony 3. Sentenced to: 18 months prison, credit for one day served.

Jenifer Lynnsey Jane Davis, 23, Van Wert, Unauthorized use of vehicle, a misdemeanor 1. Sentenced to: 60 days jail, 0 credit, restitution of $500 to Nicole Cooper and ordered to pay partial appointed counsel fees plus costs.

Changes of plea

Dawne Taylor, 54, Van Wert, changed her plea to guilty to aggravated trafficking drugs, a felony 3. The court ordered a pre-sentence investigation and set sentencing for Oct. 30.
