VAN WERT — The following individuals appeared Wednesday before Judge Martin Burchfield in Van Wert County Common Pleas Court:

Changes of pleas

Joshua Carroll, 32, Van Wert, changed his plea to guilty to two counts of aggravated trafficking of drugs, each a felony 4. The court ordered a pre-sentence investigation and set sentencing for Dec. 11.

Hearing

Andrew Taylor, 34, Van Wert, withdrew his request for reinstatement of his work release privileges.

Sentencings

Corey Elston, 29, Van Wert, possession of LSD, a felony 5; and aggravated possession of drugs, a felony 5. Sentenced to: 90 days jail each count, credit one day served, concurrent. He was also ordered to pay partial appointed counsel fees plus court costs.

Austin Ladd, 29, Delphos, aggravated trafficking drugs, a felony 3, Sentenced to: three years community control, WORTH Center, 200 hours community service, 30 days jail at later date, two years intensive probation, substance and mental assessments and treatment and was ordered to pay partial appointed counsel fees, monthly probation fee and court costs.

Jayson Foppe, 19, Van Wert, assault on police officer, a felony 4. Sentenced to: 13 months prison, credit for 94 days served and ordered to pay court costs.

Colby Black, 35, Ohio City, trespass in habitation, a felony 4. Sentenced to: 120 days jail, credit 28 days served; work release; no contact victims; and pay partial appointed attorney fees, and costs. Jail begins Nov. 4.

April Ladd, 37, Convoy, aggravated trafficking drugs, a felony 3; and possession of drugs, a felony 5. Sentenced to: trafficking: 30 months prison, credit for 45 days served; possession: 12 months prison, credit for 45 days served, concurrent. Also ordered to pay court costs. $286 forfeited to Van Wert Police Trust Fund.

MacKenzie Allen, 19, Van Wert, theft, a misdemeanor 1. Sentenced to: two days jail and ordered to pay costs and partial appointed counsel fees.
