June 11

Change of plea

Mark Eberle, 42, Van Wert, changed his plea to guilty to OVI, a felony 4. The court ordered a pre-sentence investigation and set sentencing for Aug 7.

Arraignment

April McCollum, 46, Van Wert, entered a plea of not guilty to aggravated burglary, a felony 1, and carrying a concealed weapon, a felony 4. Bond was set at $50,000 cash or commercial surety and telephone pretrial set for July 17.

Monday

Change of plea

Joshua Wolfe, 43, Willshire, changed his plea to guilty to four counts of disseminating matter harmful to juveniles, a felony 4; and to a Prosecutor’s Bill of Information charging him with two counts of sexual imposition, a misdemeanor 3. The court ordered a pre-sentence investigation and set sentencing for Aug. 5.

Tuesday

Time waiver

Alcides Ordonez-Cruz, 27, Kenosha, Wisconsin, signed a time waiver in court and requested additional time to prepare his case. Final prtiral set for Sept. 8 and trial set for Sept. 28.

Wednesday

Change of plea

Brook Scheumann, 21, Decatur, entered a plea of guilty to a Prosecutor’s Bill of Information charging her with criminal simulation, a misdemeanor 1. A charge of counterfeiting was dismissed for her plea. Sentencing set for July 23.

Sentencing

Chad Fowler, 35, Van Wert, importuning, a felony 5. Sentenced to: 12 months prison, credit eight days served, must register as Tier 3 sex offender every 90 days for life and was ordered to pay court costs.
