VAN WERT — The following individuals appeared in Van Wert County Common Pleas Court:

Sept. 2

Probation violation

Adam Blatteau, 39, Van Wert, charged with theft, a felony 5, admitted to violating probation by not reporting to the probation department as ordered. Bond was set at $25,000. Sentencing set for Sept. 23.

Sentencing

Robert L. Rupert, 38, Van Wert, sentenced for two counts of endangering children, both a misdemeanor 1. Sentenced to two years community control with one year being intensive supervision, 30 days in jail at a time to be determined by probation and was ordered to pay court costs.

Ashley McDougle, 33, Delphos, changed her plea to guilty to possession of drugs, a felony 4. She then requested and was granted Treatment in Lieu of Conviction and her case was stayed pending completion of the treatment program. Ordered to pay costs.

Sept. 4

Arraignment

Bobby Burnett, 26, Venedocia, entered a not guilty plea to aggravated possession of drugs, a felony 5. He was released on a $5,000 Personal Surety Bond and pretrial is set for Sept. 23.

Tuesday

Change of plea

April McCollum, 46, Van Wert, changed her plea to guilty to trespass in a habitation, a felony 4. Sentencing is scheduled for Oct. 30.

Sentencing

Brian Schlegel, 37, Marion, sentenced for operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, a drug of abuse or a combination of them – OVI, a felony 4. Sentenced to 360 days in jail with 60 days credit suspended with three years of Intensive Community Control Supervision. Lifetime license suspension. He was also ordered to pay court costs.

Time waiver

Jose Melgar Revolorio, 40, Van Wert, signed a time waiver in open court an requested addition time to prepare his case. Pretrial set for Sept. 28.

Continuance

Alcides L. Ordonez-Cruz, 27, Kenoshia, WI, orally asked for a continuance of his jury trial set for Sept. 28-30 at 8 a.m. Request was granted. Pretrial set for Sept. 28.

Wednesday

Arraignments

Miguel Dejesus Molina Castro, 28, Portsmouth, entered a not guilty plea to rape, a felony 1; and sexual battery, a felony 3. Bond was set for $00,000 and pretrial set for Sept. 21.

Chad A. Young, 32, Van Wert, entered a not guilty plea to domestic violence, a felony 4. Bond was set for 10,000 and pretrial set for Sept. 28.

Duane R. Young Jr., 52, Lima, entered a not guilty plea to 2 counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, a felony 3; and two counts of sexual imposition, a misdemeanor 3. Bond was set for 100,000 and pretrial set for Sept. 22.

Timothy J. Allerton, 41,Berrien Springs, Michigan, entered a not guilty plea to grand theft of a motor vehicle, a felony 4; 3 counts of breaking and entering, each a felony 5; and vandalism, a felony 4. Bond was set for $100,000. Pretrial set Sept. 23.

Jordan Ladd, 28, Delphos, entered a not guilty plea to domestic violence, a felony 4. Bond was set at a $5,000 personal surety bond and pretrial set for Sept. 30.

Change of plea

Ryan Homier, 40, Toledo, changed his plea to guilty to aggravated possession of drugs, a felony 5. Sentencing is scheduled for Oct. 14.

Juan F. Hernandez Jr., 40, Van Wert, changed his plea to guilty to gross sexual imposition, a felony 4. Sentencing is scheduled for Oct. 14.

Spencer Davis, 29, Van Wert, changed his plea to guilty to possession of heroin, a felony 5. Sentencing is scheduled for Oct. 14.

Leiayre Freeman, 28, Lima, changed his plea to guilty to possession of cocaine, a felony 4; and attempted tampering with evidence, a felony4. He then requested and was granted Intervention in Lieu of Conviction and his case was stayed pending completion of the treatment program.

Violations

Taylor A. Vannett, 22, Van Wert, denied to violating his probation by violating Condition 14 and 17 of the Standard Conditions of Community Control by being unsuccessfully discharged from the WORTH Center. Court set hearing for Sept. 30.

Daniel Huber, 41, Van Wert, admitted to violating his probation by violating Condition 8 and 10 of the Standard Conditions of Community Control by failing to report and testing positive for an illegal substance. Court revoked current bond and resentenced to three years community control and additional 30 days in jail, 100 hours of community service and was ordered to pay court costs.
