VAN WERT — For a third year in a row the Lady Cats have either won or tied in the Northwest Conference Tournament. Jefferson beat their goal of a 190 and scored a 187 as a team. Winter Boroff of Lincolnview was the medalist for a second year in a row with a 39. The Lancers placed second with a 203.

“I am so proud of our girls for coming out ready to play tonight,” said Jefferson head coach Ryan Strickler. “They had this day marked down from the first day of the season, hoping for a three-peat and I couldn’t be more happy for them.

Anna Fitch and Kaylee Buzard led the way for Jefferson by shooting a 44. Brianna Hahn was the top golfer for Crestview with a 55.

“This group of seniors were instrumental when we started our program three years ago and what they’ve achieved is great for our program and for the school. Winning three straight NWC titles is a great accomplishment,” Strickler concluded.
