DELPHOS —A prayers service to lift up essential workers and pray for the end of the pandemic was held Sunday at Memorial Park in Delphos.

Delphos Firefighter Lt. Chuck Shumaker spoke during the prayer service.

Denny Klausing also spoke about his efforts, along with donations from the community, to feed essential workers on three different occasions and provide gift bags for each member of the local class of 2020. Klausing said remaining monies will be given to the family of the house fire at Third and Jefferson streets.

Local Knights of Columbus member Lou Hohman led the prayer service.
