DELPHOS — Delphos officials responded to a water main leak at the intersection of South Main and Lincoln streets on Tuesday.

“We’re just trying to slow down the water so the pumps can keep up,” said Maintenance Superintendent Ben Suever Tuesday afternoon.

Workers had to wait for extra pumps to come in to keep up with the flow of water.

Once water service is restored, there is a 48-hour water boil advisory.

The public should visit the city’s official Facebook page for further updates.
