DELPHOS — Coming off the heels of a very successful freshman effort with the first Delphian Social Club Downtown Social: A Main Street Event on June 8, the club and the Canal Commission Museum are back for round two of concerts and cruising on Friday.

Located on the lot at Fourth and Main streets, the social will include live music from Adam Wisher and Todd Moenter, local food from the Topp Chalet, adult beverages and hometown fun.

Doors open at 5 p.m. with the duo performing from 6-9 p.m.

Bracelets to the enter the Downtown Social are $2.

While downtown on Friday, you can also drive 2 mph an hour around the block for hours at a time. Yeah, that’s right, the museums are bringing back cruising! Join the Delphos Canal Museum and the Museum of Postal History in downtown Delphos as they host the second Old Fashioned Cruising Night. From 7-9 p.m., cruising is legal on Main Street to check out the fancy cars, pretty girls and cool dudes as you pass them every 32 minutes.

Commemorative “Cruising Licenses” are only $10 each ($5 if one was purchased for the June 8 event) and can be purchased at the Cruising Kiosk in front of the Canal Museum on Friday. With the purchase of each license, one free wristband for free admission to the Downtown Social area courtesy of the Delphian Social Club is included.

Proceeds from the social will be put directly back into the development of the lot.

All traffic laws are in effect for cruisers, including open container.
