DELPHOS — On Feb. 24, officers spoke with a male complainant at the station in reference to an item that was stolen from a property that he owns in Delphos. The item has been located and a suspect was identified. The incident remains under investigation.

On Feb. 24, officers responded to the 400 block of North Bredeick Street to investigate a possible domestic violence incident. Officers arrived and met with an adult male and female and two juvenile females. After investigating the incident, it was determined that no physical violence had occurred but one of the juveniles will be charged with ungovernable juvenile.

On Feb. 24, officers spoke with a female at the police department who wished to report a theft incident. The female told officers that her vehicle was parked in the 200 block of West Second Street, when her rear license plate was removed. The female gave officers the name of a possible suspect and the incident remains under investigation.

On Feb. 25, officers along with Delphos Fire and Rescue responded to the 100 block of South Clay Street for an unresponsive female. Upon arrival, officers located the female and were able to determine that she was suffering from a drug overdose. The female was transported to the hospital by Delphos Fire and Rescue. Charges are being considered.

On Feb. 25, officers were sent to the 200 block of Cherry Street to investigate a burglary incident. Officers arrived and met with the homeowner, who stated that several items were taken from inside his residence while he was away. There was no forced entry discovered and the incident remains under investigation.

On Feb. 25, officers were dispatched to the 400 block of West Clime Street to investigate an assault incident that took place at an establishment there. Officers arrived and spoke with the victim, who stated that another female had assaulted her and damaged her property. Officers reviewed video footage from inside the establishment and found that it corroborated the victim’s story. The report has been forwarded to the Van Wert Municipal Court Prosecutor’s Office for review of charges.

On Feb. 25, officers met with a male complainant in the 400 block of East Seventh Street after receiving a criminal damaging complaint. The male told officers that his two vehicles had been damaged by eggs. After an investigation by the responding officer, it was found that three juveniles were involved in causing the damage. The victim wished to pursue charges, therefore the report along with charges will be filed into the Allen County Juvenile Court.

On Sunday, officers were sent to the 200 block of North Main Street after an alarm was activated at a business in the area. Officers arrived and found that a window was broken at one of the businesses. It was determined that no entry was made into the business and the incident remains under investigation.

On Thursday, officers were dispatched to a residence in the 700 block of North Canal Street in reference to a report of an ungovernable juvenile. Upon arrival, officers met with the complainant and her 15-year-old son. The mother stated that her son has been habitually disobedient and requested that charges be filed. Charges of ungovernable juvenile were filed in Van Wert Juvenile Court.
