OTTOVILLE — There were no surprises at the re-organizational meeting of the Ottoville Local Schools Board of Education Wednesday. Kevin Landin will remain board president and Sue Bendele vice president.

Superintendent Scott Mangas reported kindergarten registration is underway with 23 registered for the 2019-20 school year.

“I’m going to guess and say we’ll have around 34 for next year,” Mangas said.

Tryouts for the play “The Adams Family” are also underway. The play will be offered in March.

April 5 will be a waiver day for the district. Staff will be trained on CPR, AED and Stop the Bleed Kits at Ottoville in the morning and then travel to Vantage Career Center in the afternoon for a tour of the facilities led by Ottoville students attending the career center. There will be no school for students.
