The following is a weekly report concerning construction and maintenance work on State highways within the Ohio Department of Transportation District 1.

Allen County

Interstate 75 between Bentley Road and state Route 103 will be restricted to one lane at times for a bridge repair project. Work will occur on I-75 over Riley Creek in Allen County and on the county Road 15 bridge over I-75 in Hancock County. The project is expected to be completed in late September.

The project will have the following anticipated impacts to traffic:

— I-75 in both directions is restricted to one lane in each direction through the work zone. Additional lane restrictions are possible at times throughout the duration of the project. A maximum width restriction of 13 feet is in place during the lane restriction.

— County Road 15 (County Line Road) over Interstate 75 will close Aug. 13 for approximately 30 days for bridge repairs.

— Variable speed limits are in place through the work zone. Electronic messages boards display the posted, legal speed limit, which will be reduced during construction operations and presence of workers in the area. The posted speed limit on the electronic boards is enforceable by law.

I-75 over Little Riley Creek, just north of Beaverdam, will be restricted to one lane at times for a bridge repair project. Shoulder restrictions are also possible during the project. A maximum width restriction of 12 feet is in place during the lane restrictions. Work will last through mid-August.

I-75 under Swaney Road, just north of Beaverdam, will be restricted to one lane at times for a bridge repair project that will begin Monday. Shoulder restrictions are also possible during the project. Swaney Road over I-75 will close Monday for approximately three weeks during the project.

I-75 northbound exit ramp to Bentley Road, Bluffton, is now open following a pavement repair project.

I-75 shoulders near the U.S. 30 overpass, just south of Beaverdam, are closed in both directions during a culvert replacement project beneath the interstate. Little impact to traffic is expected. Work is expected to continue through August.

The following U.S. 30 ramps in Allen County will be affected by a concrete pavement and ramp repair project:

— U.S. 30 eastbound entrance ramp from state Route 696, Beaverdam, will close until noon today. Traffic will be detoured onto U.S. 30 westbound and state Route 65 back to U.S. 30 eastbound.

— U.S. 30 westbound exit ramp to State Route 696, Beaverdam is closed until 6 p.m. Sunday. During the closure, traffic will be detoured onto U.S. 30 westbound, state Route 65 and U.S. 30 eastbound back to state Route 696.

State Route 65 between Grand Avenue and state Route 115, Lima, is reduced to one lane through the work zone at various locations for work related to a roadway rehabilitation project that will last through the summer.

The following impacts to traffic are occurring:

— Traffic on state Route 65 between Northern Avenue and Jacobs Avenue, just north of Casa Lu Al Restaurant, has been switched onto the northbound side of the roadway while widening work takes place on the southbound side.

— One lane of traffic is maintained in both directions. The turn lane is not available.

— Traffic delays can be expected during the project.

State Route 81 from Wapak Road to Eastown Road, Lima, is no longer restricted as curb ramp work is mostly complete. Resurfacing of the route will occur in the coming weeks.

State Route 117/state Route 309 (Bellefontaine Avenue) between Shawnee Street and Elm Street, within the city of Lima, is now open following work related to a railroad grade separation project under the Indiana & Ohio Railroad, and roundabout construction at the intersection of Elm Street and Bellefontaine Avenue.

State Route 117 between Bowman Road and the Auglaize County line will be reduced to one lane through the work zone for pavement repairs.

State Route 696 between U.S. 30 and the village of Beaverdam will be restricted to one lane through the work zone during pavement resurfacing.

Putnam County

Bridge repair, pavement repair and resurfacing on the following routes within the Delphos and Ottoville area will have the following impacts to traffic: (Work has been suspended for approximately one week.)

— State Route 66, state Route 190 and state Route 697 within the city of Delphos will be restricted to one lane at various locations for pavement repairs and resurfacing.

— State Route 66 and state Route 189 within the village of Ottoville will be restricted to one lane at various locations for pavement repairs and resurfacing.

— State Route 66, state Route 190 and state Route 697 within the city of Delphos will be restricted to one lane at various locations for pavement repairs.

— State Route 66 and state Route 189 within the village of Ottoville will be restricted to one lane at various locations for pavement repairs.

State Route 65 between the southern village limits of Leipsic and the Henry County line will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for a resurfacing project. The project also includes curb ramp construction within the villages of Leipsic and Belmore.

State Route 109 between state Route 613 and the Henry County line, west of Leipsic, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for a resurfacing project.

State Route 189 between township Road 16-S and state Route 115, west of Columbus Grove, closed July 30 for approximately five days for the replacement of two culverts. Traffic is detoured onto state Route 115, U.S. 224 and state Route 634 back to state Route 189.

State Route 189 between Ottoville and Fort Jennings will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for work being done in preparation for a chip seal project.

State Route 190 between Delphos and Fort Jennings will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for work being done in preparation for a chip seal project.

State Route 190 at township Road Q, north of Fort Jennings, will close Aug. 13 for approximately four months for the installation of a retaining wall along the Auglaize River. Traffic will be detoured onto state Route 634 and U.S. 224 back to state Route 190.

State Route 634 within the village of Continental will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for the installation of curb ramps and sidewalks beginning this week.

Van Wert County

State Route 116/state Route 117 overlap just east of Louth Road, north of Monticello, will close Wednesday for approximately three days for a culvert replacement project. The detours for each route are as follows:

— State Route 116 traffic will be detoured onto state Route 117, U.S. 127 and state Route 81 back to state Route 116.

— State Route 117 traffic will be detoured onto U.S. 127, state Route 81 and state Route 116 back to state Route 117.

State Route 116 will close Aug. 13 for approximately five days in the following locations. Both closures are for the culvert replacement projects.

— Just south of Monticello Spencerville Road, west of Spencerville. Traffic will be detoured onto state Route 197, state Route 66 and state Route 117 back to state Route 116.

— Between Elgin Converse Road and Masters Road, east of Elgin. Traffic will be detoured onto state Route 81, U.S. 127 and state Route 709.

State Route 637 between Feasby Wisener Road and Harvey Road, south of Grover Hill, will close Monday for approximately two days for a culvert replacement. Traffic will be detoured onto U.S. 224, state Route 66 and state Route 114 back to state Route 637.
