DELPHOS — The coronavirus couldn’t keep the Kiwanis and their Pancake and Sausage Day down on Saturday.

The meal was carry-out only, with patrons driving through the Jefferson High School parking lot for meals.

Club volunteers flipped their way through enough pancakes for 1,964 meals that also included 700 pounds of sausage.

Co-chair Jamey Wisher said the club was very happy with the community support.
